Research Overview

About Glutathione

Reduced L-Glutathione (GSH) is the body's primary intracellular antioxidant. Researchers investigate its role in protecting cells from oxidative damage, supporting liver function, immune activity and mitochondrial health.

How It Works in Research

Glutathione helps protect cells from oxidative stress and supports the body's natural detoxification pathways.

Research Applications

Cellular detoxification Oxidative stress Liver health Immune function Mitochondrial health Skin health

Glutathione (GSH) is composed of glutamate, cysteine and glycine. It neutralises reactive oxygen species, supports Phase II detoxification pathways and is recycled by glutathione reductase to maintain intracellular redox balance.

Key Benefits

  • Antioxidant support
  • Cellular detoxification research
  • Liver function support
  • Immune system research
  • Mitochondrial protection
  • Skin health investigations

REFERENCE RECONSTITUTION INFORMATION

Glutathione is supplied as a lyophilised powder and should be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before laboratory research use.

Always follow sterile preparation techniques when handling research peptides.

The following preparation information is provided for laboratory and scientific research purposes only.

General Preparation

Avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles. Use within 2–3 weeks after reconstitution for optimal potency.
  • Draw 3.0ml bacteriostatic water, inject slowly down the vial wall, gently swirl until dissolved, label with the date and refrigerate at 2–8°C.
