Research Overview
About PEG-MGF
PEGylation extends the half-life of MGF, allowing longer systemic exposure than native MGF. Experimental studies have explored its role in satellite cell activation, muscle repair and connective tissue regeneration.
How It Works in Research
MGF is an IGF-1 splice variant expressed after mechanical loading or injury. Preclinical research suggests it activates satellite cells and supports local protein synthesis. PEGylation prolongs circulating half-life, enabling once-daily subcutaneous administration in research models.
Research Applications
• Muscle regeneration • Recovery • Satellite cells • Connective tissue • Bone repair • Cartilage biology

REFERENCE RECONSTITUTION INFORMATION
Goal: Support muscle recovery and regeneration through MGF-mediated satellite cell activation. Schedule: Daily subcutaneous injections for 8 weeks (optional extension to 12–16 weeks). Dose Range: 200–500 mcg daily. Reconstitution: Add 3.0 mL bacteriostatic water to one 2 mg vial (~0.667 mg/mL).
Always follow sterile preparation techniques when handling research peptides.
General Preparation
- Slowly add 3.0 mL bacteriostatic water down the vial wall. Allow the powder to dissolve naturally and gently swirl until clear. Do not shake vigorously.
