Research Overview

About Adamax

Adamax is derived from the ACTH(4–10) analogue Semax. The adamantane modification is intended to improve peptide stability and blood–brain barrier penetration compared with standard Semax.

How It Works in Research

Adamax is structurally derived from Semax. Preclinical studies suggest Semax-class peptides may increase BDNF signalling, enhance TrkB receptor activity, influence dopamine and serotonin pathways, and promote neuroplasticity. The adamantane modification is intended to improve lipophilicity, stability and blood–brain barrier penetration.

Research Applications

• Cognitive function • Memory • Neuroplasticity • Neuroprotection • Mood support • Stress resilience

Researchers investigate Adamax for its potential to support learning, memory, neuroplasticity and neuronal resilience.

REFERENCE RECONSTITUTION INFORMATION

Goal: Support cognitive enhancement, neuroprotection and neuroplasticity. Schedule: Daily subcutaneous injections for 8–12 weeks (optional extension to 16 weeks), followed by an equal off-cycle period. Dose Range: 0.3–1.0 mg daily with gradual titration. Reconstitution: Add 1.5 mL bacteriostatic water to one 5 mg vial (3.33 mg/mL).

Always follow sterile preparation techniques when handling research peptides.

Educational protocol only; long-term human data remain limited.

General Preparation

• Use a new sterile insulin syringe for each injection. • Rotate injection sites daily. • Morning administration is generally preferred. • Record dosing and injection sites. • Educational protocol only; long-term human data remain limited.
  • Reconstitute: Add 1.5 mL bacteriostatic water → ~3.33 mg/mL.
  • Typical daily range: 0.5–1.0 mg once daily.
  • Easy measuring: 1 unit = 0.01 mL ≈ 0.0333 mg on a U-100 insulin syringe.
  • Storage: Lyophilized: −20°C; after reconstitution refrigerate at 2–8°C and use within 4–5 weeks.
